Constant #S1 Timeout Errors

This was happening a few weeks ago and was fixed by doing complete internet reset. Now with new version 4.05 and everything deleted and reinstalled (app and plug ins) the client will always timeout after roughly 90 seconds. Very frustrating to have this issue all the time. Also all SRT apps moved to exceptions/trusted programs on my antivirus so I don't think that's the problem.

i've seen your logs.
the problem is that your computer can not reach the two simracingtools servers. Based on past experiences I can tell you to check antivirus or any software that manages internet connections because the traffic to these two servers is blocked.

Besides many users in our league couldn't have game (rFactor 2) detected. Is your tool still supported?

of course, rf2 is still supported. I've refreshd some process of servers so retry

I have analyzed your logs and everything seems to show that you have an antivirus / firewall that slows down client operations. If the scan operation of your system takes a lot of time it is because every single operation that is performed must be validated by the antivirus but this causes a timeout of the entire process. Also probably always the same antivirus / firewall slows down the data traffic to the server because I see many timeouts on the socket. Check if you have recently installed a firewall or an antivirus and make sure that the client is included among the exceptions.

Thank you. The problem is I have no antivir at all and firewall is default Windows with all allow outgoing policy so it can't interfere. I feel that it's somehow connected to network routing and/or I can't just connect to your servers. Is there an option to test the connection manually to be sure that packets are sent from me and received by your end? Application is run with admin rights and from non-system partition so Windows 10 shouldn't block anything.

I did not want to start my own thread for having the same issue so I'll post here especially since this is recent. Obviously having the same issue. Bandwidth and Connection timeout. My internet is not the problem and the application has been added to all exception lists. Even tested with AV and firewall shut off. I now know of 4 other people with this problem who have all attempted to get this running in the last few days. Please advise, Thank you.

I also have the S1 error. Sometimes it happens after one minute, sometimes after 1-2 hours..

I've also had issues with this error - a PM has been sent to Sequel.
